The Cone is woven from natural wicker in a tapering conical form that flares to a broad 38cm base, giving it a low, stable stance. What makes it work is the weave itself. Light from the glass holder inside passes between the strands and projects a layered basketwork pattern outward, so the lantern effectively paints the surface around it rather than just glowing.
At 30cm high with that wide footprint it is a floor or low-table piece rather than a shelf one. It suits a conservatory corner, a hearth, a covered patio or either side of a garden bench. The warm brown of untreated wicker sits naturally alongside rattan furniture, seagrass, linen and unpainted timber.
