A substantial warm brown resin base rises 79cm to a cylindrical linen shade finished with crisp edge detailing, and the straight-sided cylinder is the choice worth noting. Most shades here taper. This one does not, which gives the whole lamp a firmer, more architectural outline.
At 4kg it plants itself properly, and the 41cm shade means it needs a surface with depth. A hall console, a wide sideboard or a substantial chest. On a narrow table the proportions would be wrong.
