Harmony Kingdom — Ivory Tower | Owl Box Figurine | TJLEOW | Limited Edition of 7,200 | David Lawrence | Zookeepers Collection | Made in England
For the serious collector, a piece that rewards every level of attention.
Harmony Kingdom is one of the most cherished and distinctive names in the world of collectable box figurines — a brand whose pieces, carved with extraordinary artistry and packed with hidden detail, humour and meaning, have inspired devoted collectors across the world since the 1990s. "Ivory Tower" is a classic example of everything that makes Harmony Kingdom special.
Designed by celebrated artist David Lawrence and released in June 1998 as part of the Limited Editions subset of the iconic Zookeepers collection, Ivory Tower is a box figurine decorated with distinguished owls — the natural symbol of wisdom and learning — whose surface detail and sculptural form are characteristic of Lawrence's remarkable skill. But as with all Harmony Kingdom pieces, the real magic is in the details that reveal themselves on closer inspection.
Along the base runs the inscription "If the oak's before the ash you'll only get a splash" — a traditional English weather proverb — alongside the playfully scored "Charles 2 NOL 0." Open the piece and inside you will find mistletoe accompanied by the words "Kiss Kiss" — a hidden interior secret that is a Harmony Kingdom signature and the source of endless delight for collectors. Each piece is hand-numbered from a limited edition of just 7,200, bears artist David Lawrence's personal monogram, and is accompanied by its original certificate of authenticity. Hallmarks include the Harmony Kingdom heart, HBC logo and edition number.
Made entirely in England, Ivory Tower measures 3.46 × 3.46 × 4.45 inches — a compact, substantial piece with the weight and presence of genuine quality. Original US issue price was $120 and UK issue price was £86.95 — pieces in this condition on the secondary market are increasingly sought after.

Merchandising tips
Merchandising tips
Style & Display
- Group pieces by theme or character universe for maximum visual impact — clusters of related pieces signal to collectors that this is a range worth exploring
- Give each piece room to breathe — these are sculptures, not knick-knacks; crowding them obscures the hand-painted detail that makes them special
- Position at eye level where possible so customers can appreciate the intricate folk art patterning up close
- Lead with the largest or most dramatic piece as the anchor, then build smaller pieces around it
- A backdrop that complements the colour palette of each piece will draw the eye and elevate the display from shop shelf to curated collection
Gifting
- These pieces appeal across all age groups — nostalgic adults, devoted collectors, parents and grandparents buying for family members alike
- Always lead with the story, not the price — communicating the craftsmanship and the specific scene or character moment justifies the price far more effectively than the number alone
- Position smaller pieces as approachable gifts for birthdays and celebrations; larger statement pieces as landmark gifts for significant occasions; detailed scene pieces as the ultimate collector's statement
- Every piece arrives in a branded gift box — no additional wrapping needed, making these an effortless premium gift at any price point
