Collection: Selenite Charging Plates & Bars

Selenite charging plates and bars are flat pieces of natural selenite used as a resting place for crystals, jewellery, mala beads and tarot decks, or as the base of a crystal grid. Selenite is named after Selene, goddess of the moon, and its silky striations give every piece a soft glow.

Our range runs from small 8cm discs to large 18cm plates and 15cm to 20cm flat bars, plain or engraved with chakra symbols, mandalas, the lotus, the Hamsa hand, the Tree of Life, Metatron's Cube, a yin yang and the phases of the moon. There is also a complete set of seven chakra plates.

They make thoughtful gifts for yoga and reiki practitioners, crystal collectors and anyone who wears a stack of bracelets.

Frequently asked questions

What is a selenite charging plate?
It is a flat piece of selenite that many crystal lovers use to rest other stones and jewellery on between uses. It also works simply as a pretty display base.

What is the difference between a plate and a bar?
Plates are round or hexagonal and suit clusters and grids. Bars are long and slim, ideal for bracelets, mala beads or a row of tumble stones.

How do I look after it?
Keep it dry and wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Never cleanse selenite in water.
